On Friday, July 30, Providence College undergraduates from Biology and Chemistry traveled down the coast to University of Rhode Island, and presented their summer research at the 2021 RI Summer Undergraduate Research Conference! The conference, sponsored by the Rhode Island IDeA Network of Biomedical Research Excellence (RI-INBRE) and Rhode Island Established Program to Stimulate Competitive Research (RI EPSCoR), featured undergraduate student research from across Rhode Island.

Providence College is one of eight institutions that make up RI-INBRE and one of seven that make up RI EPSCoR. This allows Providence College students to pursue research projects and network with scientists both on and off campus.
